📱Onboarding with Blutext (Device)

Before we get started, be sure you've opted-in for our Trial. Click here to create an account.

*Note About Passwords: If you create an account with an email and password (not Google SSO), the password must be ten (10) characters long. Passwords used in past security breaches will be rejected.

Let’s start by making sure your account information is correct.

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

2. Select “Account Settings.”

Make sure the following details are accurate:

• 👤 Name

• 📧 Email Address

• 📱 Cell Phone Number

• ⏰ Time Zone

To connect your iPhone or Android device to Blutext, you’ll need to create a Blutext API Key (Blutext ID).

1. Click Settings on the left side of the dashboard.

2. Select “API.”

3. Click the blue “+ API Key” button in the top-right corner.

4. Enter the Application Name (examples: Follow Up Boss, HighLevel, Zapier, etc.).

5. Click the blue “Generate API Key” button.

🎯 Your API key will now be ready to connect your integrations.

Once you have your Blutext API Key 🔑 ready, it’s time to install Blutext on your Android 🤖 or iPhone 🍏.

This step will:

• 🔗 Connect your mobile device to your Blutext dashboard

• ✨ Enable Signals to reach your Sphere (from Step 5️⃣)

Blackout Dates prevent messages from being sent on specific days.

By default, this includes major holidays, but you can also add custom dates if there are times you don’t want Blutext messages to be sent.

✔️ Review the existing dates
✔️ Add any additional blackout dates if needed

Now it’s time to import your contact list into Blutext.

1. Navigate to the Sphere section on the left side of the dashboard.

2. Click “All Contacts.”

3. Click “Import.”

4. Select your Sphere file and upload it.

🚀 Once uploaded, your contacts will be ready to use in your Signal campaigns!
